We anticipate having teams for boys and girls in the Liberty High School residency area, grades 2 thru 8.
Teams will participate in the CNR Basketball Fall and Winter leagues. Players will be asked to select which sessions they are interested in participating (Fall or Winter). We understand that some athletes are involved in traditional Fall sports and won’t be available until late October or early November.
Player evaluations will be held (likely mid to late August). These player evaluations are for the purpose of forming 2021-22 teams. Even if your child intends to start with the Winter session (late October), they need to attend the player evaluations held in August.
Historically we’ve made every attempt to accommodate all players interested in participating on a Jr. Eagles team. At the older grade levels, teams will be formed to align skill level of the players.
We are currently unsure how much practice gym time we will have available for Jr. Eagles teams. Once we understand how much practice time we will be provided by the Wentzville School District we will have a much better feel for how many teams we can accommodate.
Teams are coached by volunteers. If you are interested in serving as a Volunteer Coach or Assistant Coach please mark the appropriate section on the registration form.
The Jr. Eagles Basketball program is not operated for profit. All costs associated with participation in the CNR Basketball Leagues and rental fees charged by the Wentzville School District will be passed on to the participating families. Additionally, the program is required to maintain an insurance policy and the costs associated will be shared across all teams.
