We are so excited to offer for the first time ever a comprehensive Summer camp program for our Jr. Eagles Basketball players. Coaches from the Liberty High School Basketball staff (Boys and Girls) will be hosting a series of 6 different camps in June and July.

You will see some half day options available for those only wanting to attend the morning session of the camp.

*Multi-child discounts (20% off for 2nd child, 50% off for 3rd child) when attending the same camp.

**Multi-camp discounts (20% off 2nd camp registration, 30% off 3rd camp, 4th camp and 5th camp registration)

Each camp will incorporate basic basketball fundamentals necessary to be a candidate for a high school basketball team. While making sure to incorporate the foundational skills necessary for playing high school basketball, each camp will feature a different format ensuring campers who attend all 6 sessions get something unique in each of their camp experiences.

June 10-14 will feature a 3v3 Skills and “Building a Shooter” where players will learn the nuances of attacking a small advantage to create a big advantage in the format of 3v3 basketball. Coaches will isolate the commonalties of all “Great” shooters and introduce an easy to remember method for youth players to repeat their shooting motion. Players will learn the foundation of a great shot and then incorporate the footwork, posture and sequencing required for success taking shots at game speed and in game situations. Players will enjoy this competitive, yet instructional, format as they participate in 3v3 games in the afternoon.

Each camp will feature a combination of SSG’s (Small Sided Games) allowing players to incorporate the skills being developed into game situations.

Camps will also be emphasizing the following:

  • Ball Handling, Shooting, Decision Training
  • What’s required to be an Elite Guard?
  • Scoring & Playmaking
  • Building a game in the open floor, around the arc and finishing at the basket
  • Post Moves (necessary for all players to learn, not just the “bigs”)
  • 3v3 Camp (players will play a 3v3 league with breakdown drills to highlight the decisions and skills needed in “advantage” situations.)

The majority of the Camps will be hosted at the Lombardo All-American Athlete Center located on Hopewell Avenue. Directions for Lombardo All-American Athlete Center are available via the camp registration links.  The June 24-26 Shooting Camp will be held at Liberty High School.

Full Day camps will include a break for lunch.  Campers will be expected to stay on site and asked to bring their own lunch. A concession stand will be available for those needing to purchase lunch on site.

Each camp will be capped to ensure appropriate camper to instructor ratios. If you are interested in participating in a particular session, we encourage you to register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot.

We look forward to building on the great momentum we have with our Jr. Eagles Basketball program and hope to see you or your child this summer at an Eagles Basketball Camp!
